Today has been a really busy day! The phones have been ringing all day at the switchboard. Students are calling to get everything squared away to come back in the fall. It's hard to believe that school will be back in session a month from now! What is even more crazy than that is the fact that I have been out of college now for seven years!! Where has time gone?!! Those were some of the most fun and memorable days of my life!
Well...nothing really eventful has happened today (other than the phone ringing over & over again), but one thing I will say is that despite another rainy day in Seattle; I am happy! I spent some time digging into God's word this morning and at lunch I went to the gym and worked out, and now I just feel great!
For some reason I have had the hymn, "His Eye is on the Sparrow" in my head all afternoon. It's weird because I haven't heard that song in quite awhile. I love the lyrics to that hymn! Especially the chorus:

And I know he watches me.
Those of you who know me really well know that I like to sing ALL OF THE TIME!! Most of the time it is a random song that gets stuck in my head, because someone said something that reminded me of that song. For instance if you said something like, "I don't like Monday's", I would break out in to song like this:

For those of you who don't know this song, it is by The Bangels and it came out in the 1980's. I don't know why, but to this day I still love 80's music!! Okay, now I went from having "His Eye is on the Sparrow" in my head to having "Manic Monday" in my head. I better get the other song stuck in my head again because Rick doesn't really like when I belt out 80's music in the car on the way home from a long day at work!
